The Post-Pandemic Resurgence of Commercial Real Estate

December 14, 2021

Since the end of Summer 2021, the commercial real estate market has seen a significant uptick in opportunities across the board. The activity has been seen in a good balance of the verticals within the entire market, from industrial manufacturing spaces to healthcare.

Brokers, architects, engineers, contractors, and FF&E suppliers are seeing, first-hand, the positive impact of increased activity. Businesses now have the confidence to move forward with projects that were previously tabled, such as capital improvements. With supply chain delays still presenting some issues, people are trying to get ahead of future projects as well.

Within the industry, the pandemic is being viewed as a blip on the radar with all signs pointing to higher levels of spending through the end of 2021 compared to the previous year. We anticipate the same level of activity in 2022 as business owners learn how to better adapt moving forward.

These past (almost) two years have been a learning experience for everyone; now, we need to focus on building business that works for our new “normal”.
